Hello again

As part of our world record campaign we’ll be doing a show. Why?  There are two reasons:

Because a video says more than 1000 words.

Besides …

1. We want to feature you, the people who make a difference,  the dreamchasers and trendsetters, the visionary leaders and innovators, the artists and youtubers
2. We’ll use the show a platform to share updates of the campaign with you
3. We want to show you the best ideas, innovations, music, movies, art, charities and other amazing things we find

There is another motivation to do this show:

The other day I was eating my breakfast and the TV was on. Suddenly someone on the morning show said: ” Is your breakfast gonna kill you? We’ll tell you after the commercial break ….”

I was chewing my sandwich and froze for moment. Really? I know that sensationalism gets you ratings but it would be nice to have other kinds of news. Great people who do amazing things that move our world forward. People who make a difference. We want our show to become a place for Good News and great people.

Today I was talking to a company that is bringing super healthy food inside of cutting edge vending machines to America’s schools and other places. (More about that later.) I love this idea because we are what we eat. And kids should have access to a healthy diet.

I feel that our society should have access to a healthy media diet. Something that lifts you up, makes you smile, something that shows you all the amazing things people are doing around us. This is what our show is all about. It will follow us as we are going for the world record and you’ll meet fascinating and exciting people and their ideas, creativity, art, innovations and more along the way.

Of course it needs to be fun to watch so we are working on getting some really cool prizes for you to win.

We are currently working on the pilot of the show and I will keep you posted about how it’s going.

Today I thought I’ll tell you a bit about how I prepared for our world record project. Why am I telling you this? Because I believe that if YOU really want something in your own life, there is a great chance that you can have it.  Well, we can’t always control the  outcome but we can do everything in our power to be really prepared for what’s to come. Since 99% of the DNA in all people is the same, we’re all more similar than what meets the eye.

I believe that in order to accomplish any victory I first need to win an inner victory. This means overcoming any obstacles and challenges that may prevent me from reaching my goal. Preparation is the mother of success. Since our project is quite complex, I created my own training program for body, mind and spirit. I call this heartware. A computer needs the right software to work. A person needs the right heartware. Since there is no “how to build a city” Ph.D. program out there I needed to create my own.  I studied 223 books covering a wide range of subjects. I got the books as audio books and they add up to more than 1,800 hours of lectures. I listened to them, made notes and then quizzed myself. It took me several years. Even if I would have listened to these books non stop ( Monday through Friday 9 to 5) it would have taken me 11 months.

The subjects included:

• economics
• psychology
• philosophy
• politics
• physics
• biology
• the latest brain science
• branding

I also studied my role models

• Albert Einstein
• Thomas Edison
• Leonardo DaVinci
• and many more

Something fascinating happened. At one point I realized that something I had learned in physics also applied to psychology or some computer process taught me something about the brain. Patterns started to emerge in the most unexpected places. Similarities between the most unlikely pairs of sciences began to surface.

What I learned made me both concerned as well as HOPEful about our future.

Hi there Glad you’re here!

Has anyone ever told you that you’re absolutely crazy? Well that’s what people told us at first when we told them about our idea.

Today is day ONE of our world record project. I feel very excited even though I know that there is a big mountain right in front of us. It’s big, it’s tall and it’s steep. But ever since I was a kid I always LOVED big challenges. If you’re someone who loves to do something that hasn’t been done before, if you love to be part of an adventure, then I hope you’ll join us.

Why a World Record?

People who are making a difference are all around us. Peace City is all about acknowledging them.

For the first time in the history of mankind we have the ability to destroy our planet or we can be the generation that created an amazing future. It’s up to you and me. Just imagine: what if there was a city full of people who make a difference, a place filled with great ideas for the future, art, music and innovation. An city built for YOU, the dreamchasers, the trendsetters, the artists, the visionary business leaders, entertainers, innovators, the youtubers, the philanthropists,  the charities…

A city that’s all about YOU, your future, your dreams, your success, a place where you are celebrated for your creativity, for your ideas, where you are celebrated for making a difference in someone’s life.

When I look at the map, I feel that there are many great cities, but I’m missing one. A city that is dedicated to the future…  where people believe that life can be magic, simply because THEY make it so!

I’m one who loves creative people and innovators, people who care about others and the future. So our world record is about creating this community: And it all starts with celebrating the people who are putting themselves out there to make a difference. It starts with saying THANK YOU to them.

We’re building this city for you. An entire city that started with a simple belief in the power of people. This city won’t be connected through paved streets but through information highways.
